Here are some interesting gasoline price facts for California, especially
when you consider a big part of Republican control of the federal
government was suppose to be a new energy policy.  During the week of Ws inauguration, Jan 15, 2001, the average price of regular gasoline was
$160.00.  It is now $305.30.  A 91% increase.

Here are the Mid-October CA gasoline prices for the last 13 years.
 Oct 16, 1995     $117.50
 Oct 14, 1996  $ 126.00
 Oct 13, 1997      $ 142.40
 Oct 19, 1998  $ 114.90
 Oct 18, 1999  $ 139.30
 Oct 16, 2000  $ 180.90
Oct 15, 2001   $ 155.00
 Oct 14, 2002  $ 153.40
 Oct 13, 2003  $ 180.50
 Oct 18, 2004  $ 240.20
 Oct 17, 2005  $ 290.20
 Oct 16, 2006  $ 254.00
 Oct 15, 2007  $ 305.30

 Oct 20, 2008  $335.50

When you couple this with a 39.2% rise in government spending from
2,986,900,000,000 in 2001 to 4,157,800,000,000 in 2006 you can see why his
approval is where it is.  This is not what the people that vote Republican
want.

What we need is to pump the oil from Alaska, as voters for W wanted in two
elections, and to move towards a solid Western Hemisphere oil association.
Let the rest of the world deal with the insanity of Islam, and we will stay
over on this side of the globe.
