Corporate America will push as much as possible to get the wages of tech workers down.  CEOs can't steal a descent retirement if their workers get even a modest wage.

The latest horseshit from Washington is to increase H-1B Visa from 65,000 to 180,000 but that is just the upfront increase.  The big increase is 380,000 Green Cards based earned on a 100 point system.  Now think about Indian programmers here.

50 points based on employment, easy enough through their own conulting firms like Infosys or Tata
25 point based on Education, that would be programmers
15 points based on English proficiency, that is why Corporate America loves India
